June 29 , 2001 (Seattle, WA) - Asentria proudly announces the release of two new products to expand the Data-Link™ line of network-ready SMDR data buffers. The new Data-Link DL50 and Data-Link DL100 provide economical solutions for data buffering, PBX alarm management and remote equipment maintenance. The buffers are geared toward customer sites on a budget with less-demanding telemanagement applications, while providing reliable network operation from the award-winning Data-Link product line.
The DL50 has two serial ports and comes with 512K of storage memory for a typical capacity of approximately 19,000 call records. The DL100 has memory from 512K up to 64Mb of storage memory and offers two or four serial ports. Both units also offer optional internal 33.6 modem and 10baseT Ethernet interfaces. Data can be stored and polled using industry standard command sets via a modem or Ethernet, as well as an easy-to-use FTP Push feature. Both units support data alarms for switch management and toll-fraud applications, as well as other alarms such as memory full or loss of incoming data. Alarms may report back to Asentria new AlarmManager software, which is provided free to Asentria customers. In addition to SMDR buffering, the DL50 and DL100 provide password-protected access to connected serial devices, facilitating in-band or out-of-band access and remote maintenance of PBX equipment.
All Asentria data buffers are covered by the company's unmatched technical support services and a one-year warranty.
