PowerBoss PB1 Power Control Unit



Product Overview

The new Asentria PowerBoss PB1 is a peripheral control module that expands the control capabilities of an Asentria SNMP-Link Model SL81 ( see diagram). The PowerBoss PB1 provides 8 independent mechanical relays for switching 24 and 48 volt DC powered devices for controlling and power-cycling remote equipment and cabinets.

The PowerBoss One is an accessory for Asentria site monitoring products such as the SNMP-Link SL81 that lets you control power to up to 8 pieces of equipment located in your remote sites. You can power cycle both -48VDC and 24VDC equipment. When a piece of equipment in your remote cabinet becomes unresponsive, use the PB1 to cycle its power. When combined with an SNMP-Link Remote Site Manager, the PB1 greatly improves your ability to manage your facilities, especially in unmanned rooms or after work hours.

Handle your remote switching needs

The PB1 provides eight independent mechanical relays that each may be used to switch -48VDC or +24VDC simultaneously. With the normally closed contact and mechanical relays all equipment attached to the PB1 continues to operate even if the PB1 is inoperative.
