Asentria's Active Equipment Management Options Expanded with New DC Power Switching SiteBoss Unit

Seattle, WA—May 12, 2014—Asentria® today announced the expansion of its DC reboot line with the new Asentria SiteBoss S572.

The SiteBoss S572 unit is specifically designed to be deployed in remote cabinets of the latest communication networks to enable wireless out-of-band access to these locations, as well as allow for DC powered devices to be rebooted on demand.

The S572 allows for five 30 amp circuits to be rebooted, instead of nine to twelve 10 amp circuits like the earlier and highly popular S571 unit. The S571 was used heavily by mobile network operators (MNO), as well as by users building networks for high-frequency trading (HFT). As radio vendors continue to release more power hungry radios, there was greater demand for a DC reboot product from Asentria that could support switching these higher currents. The S572 is Asentria's answer to this demand.
