With the introduction in 2008 of the Asentria SiteBoss line of products and the obsolescence of a number of key components in our previous product line, Asentria is establishing an end-of-life date for sales of the SNMP-Link SL61 & SL81 products. Please read this whole statement carefully for full understanding..

The SL61 & SL81 will be available for purchase until Sept 1st 2009. In some cases we have made assurances to specific customers that the product will be available after this date and we will honor those committments. However, after Jan 1st 2009 it is probable that the lead times for delivery of these products will increase depending on supplies and demand. Additionally, after December 2008, the prices of these SNMP-Link products will be increasing by approximately 25% per unit to cover the costs of smaller production runs and searching for discontinued parts.

Support for these SNMP-Link products will continue until Jan 1st 2015. This support is primarily in the form of technical phone assistance and product repair, and may or may not include any software updates.

We recommend you consider a transition to the newer SiteBoss products at your earliest convenience. The new SiteBoss models are superior in every respect to these older SNMP-Link products and should provide drop-in compatibility with this older product line.

We apologize for any inconvenience this situation causes you. Keeping a supply of these legacy products is difficult due to parts obsolescence issues.
